Former NICU parent, Ryan Holtzman, led an ICU baby team of athletes during the September 25, 2016 Escape to Miami Triathlon in South Beach. Their goal was to raise community awareness for ICU baby as a resource for NICU families and they certainly succeeded.

Holtzman and his team not only completed the triathlon, but raised over $10,000 for the organization from the generous support of friends and family. Holtzman’s twins were born at 24 weeks and spent over four months in South Miami Hospital’s NICU.

His mantra “Where there is hope there is faith, where there is faith, miracles happen.”
