South Miami Hospital: Supporting each other at our Meaningful Meals

We are excited to announce that ICU baby’s Meaningful Meals program is back. For the first time since the COVID 19 pandemic, we hosted our Coffee & Conversations and Cuisine & Crafts at South Miami Hospital for families who have a baby admitted in the NICU. Families enjoyed a delicious catered lunch with the option of making a baby-related craft.

We have the purpose of bringing NICU families together so they can support each other in an organically natural way. These types of reunions often become an opportunity for families to get away from the stress of the NICU without being away from their baby for too long. Our meals will be hosted once per month at the hospital by the ICU baby team and with the help of our amazing group of volunteers.

Sharing a fun family meal is good for the spirit and health of all family members. Therefore, we are always grateful and encourage everyone who would like to sponsor a meal for our NICU families to do so.
