Holidays spent in the NICU are not easy. Mother’s Day and Father’s Day can be especially challenging for NICU parents. This year, we hosted Mother’s Day Lunches and Father’s Day Events for our NICU families at Holtz Children’s Hospital at UM/Jackson Memorial Medical Center and Baptist Health System’s South Miami Hospital. Families came together to enjoy a delicious meal and receive special gifts.

ICU baby partnered with Miami Diaper Bank for our Mother’s Day Lunches. Miami Diaper Bank provided diapers, baby wipes, self-care kits, and Frida products for all of our NICU moms.

ICU baby Youth Ambassadors hosted the Father’s Day Event at South Miami Hospital. Youth Ambassadors with a personal NICU experience had the opportunity to meet NICU families and share their NICU journey, providing hope to our current families.
