ICU baby’s Youth Ambassadors hosted their first Baby Shower at Holtz Children’s Hospital in honor of NICU mothers. The celebration was as part of The Miami Foundation’s 10 Days of Connection. The event featured fun activities for all ages, including face painting, tattoos, arts and crafts, a special NICU bingo game, and a craft project where parents could prepare a bib for their baby. Raffle prizes donated by the Miami Diaper Bank and Frida Baby added to the parents’ excitement.

Veteran NICU moms, whose children are Youth Ambassadors, offered heartfelt support to current NICU moms and the Youth Ambassadors offered hope. The room was packed with 75 family members and volunteers, allowing for much connection! This memorable celebration not only uplifted spirits but also reinforced the strength and unity within our NICU family.
