World Prematurity Month is meant to raise awareness worldwide about prematurity so that more can be done to prevent it. ICU baby strives to unite our community during this special time at our annual Hope Parade and Little Miracles Luncheon.

This year we also chose to highlight the journeys of two very special families who have preemies. No NICU journey is the same and no preemie’s journey is the same, but there are common threads that hold true for all.

Thanks to the Mandler and Dominguez families for bravely sharing their extremely challenging experiences of having a preemie in the NICU.
