Swaddles and Smiles was an event put together with purpose by Repair the World Miami Service Corps. Led by Corps Member Stacey Alpert, the event gathered community members to support ICU baby and provide 50 NICU families with swaddle blankets to promote healthy sleeping practices.
The group also put together personalized picture frames with inspirational messages to attach to ICU baby’s NICU packs. Stacey has served as a Service Corps Member with ICU baby for nearly 3 years now and has been instrumental in helping ICU baby fulfill its mission.
Stacey says of this project, “Each item was prepared with love, intention, and care with the families and their babies in mind.” The ICU baby team is grateful that every project Stacey works on for the organization carries with it the same mentality. Her service to support NICU families is inspiring.
