A former ICU baby NICU mom paid it forward for other parents struggling through difficult days in the NICU by hosting a holiday event in the hospital. Grateful for a healthy NICU graduate, one mom encouraged her company, Celebrity Cruises, to sponsor a holiday Cuisine & Crafts event in December for NICU families at Holtz Children’s Hospital.

A small group of Celebrity Cruises employees volunteered to serve parents a delicious lunch and to help them decorate ornaments to commemorate their baby’s first holiday. The former NICU mom, who had a premature baby and spent two months in the NICU, exchanged stories with the NICU moms, offering them comfort.
