Youth Ambassador Program
ICU baby’s Youth Ambassador Program is designed for teenagers who have had a NICU experience themselves or who are passionate about helping the NICU community. The program gives these driven and passionate youth the opportunity to share their story, be a part of a unique team, and help further the mission of ICU baby by helping with a series of community engagement events.
Our Youth Ambassadors represent HOPE.
The Youth Ambassadors help run the ICU baby HOPE Parade, a community walk. They conduct a holiday gift wrap drive to prepare presents for the siblings of the NICU babies. They plan and execute the Car Parade of Hope, decorating their cars and driving around the hospital to bring smiles to the faces of the NICU families and healthcare teams. The Youth Ambassadors also help celebrate NICU Siblings Day and Parent’s Day. Applications for enrollment are sent out the first week of August.
