ICU baby hosted holiday dinners for all NICU family members in South Miami Hospital and Holtz Children’s Hospital. Families were treated to a full holiday meal, with all of the trimmings, and enjoyed a brief festive feel, despite the incredible stresses of having their baby in the NICU. Fashion jewelry store Kendra Scott of Brickell City Centre contributed 4 jewelry sets to raffle as holiday gifts to NICU Mothers and local knitting groups provided knitted hats for the babies. There is no good time to be in the hospital with a loved one, but ICU baby’s Holiday Suppers brought a smile to some NICU families.
The Holiday Supper at South Miami Hospital was generously sponsored by the children of the Key Biscayne Piano Academy. At their holiday piano concert, donations towards the dinner were collected and the children made made a sign with notes of encouragement for the families and their babies.
