ICU baby provides a monthly dinner for all families visiting their baby in the NICU at South Miami Hospital and Holtz Children’s Hospital. This is an opportunity for parents to take a break without having to leave the hospital and be away from their baby for too long or pay for a hospital meal.
The Supper of Support also gives parents a chance to meet other NICU families that can directly relate to what they are going through. Many of the Suppers of Support organically become informal support groups between the parents as they share their own story with others.
Each dinner is sponsored by a local restaurant or a private donor and is free of charge to all family members of a NICU baby. Suppers are held one Wednesday evening a month.
